Race Information: The Ghost of Tacoma is a low key event for those who wish to run two marathons in two days. It is of course for those wishing to qualify for the Marathon Maniacs and Half Fanatics as well.

If you are going to qualify to be a Maniac on Sunday you may wear your Saturday Ghost bib number under your Sunday TCM bib number and show the medal distributor both bibs and you will receive the special Maniac Medal.

You may run this event only and not run the double but you will not qualify for the DOUBLE DISCOUNT.

Date: May 4, 2013

Start/ Finish Location: 21st Street Park - 2101 Dock St. Tacoma, WA 98402

Race Start: 7:00am
7 hour time limit.

Finisher Medal: Marathon and Half Marathon participants receive a custom die cast finisher medal, no tee shirt.

Chip Timing: Timing will be provided by Rouge Multi Sport. You must return your chip to recieve your finisher medal.

Course: The race course will be 2 out and backs for the Marathon and 1 out and back for the Half Marathon. Beginning and ending at 21st Street Park on Dock Street, runners will follow Dock Street, Schuster Parkway, and Ruston Way, there are two two major road crossings to the turnaround. Participants must obey pedestrian laws and yield to traffic.

Aid Stations: Location will be at the turnaround and the start - finish. Approximately every 6 miles.

Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup will be at the TCM Health and Fitness Expo on Friday, May 3rd and on site Day of Race.

Discount Eligibility: You MUST be registered for the SUNDAY TACOMA CITY MARATHON to use the discount, no exceptions. Participants registered for the Tacoma City Marathon will receive a significant special discount code for the Ghost of Tacoma registration. You can find it on the Marathon Maniacs and Half Fanatics Discount Bulletin Board or email TCMA once you have registered for the May 5th 2013 Tacoma City Marathon. Email HERE <<

TCMA Policies: All entry fees are non-refundable. Sorry no transfers to another individual, and no roll-over's to the following year. All participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian in order to participate.
