Join us for a weekend of Maniac Madness and Fanatic Extravaganza!

The Marathon Maniacs / Half Fanatics originated right here in the Puget Sound region by Steve, Chris and Tony (aka the Main Maniacs #1, #2, and #3). The Tacoma City Marathon is directed by Maniac #3, Tony Phillippi. The weekend will start out with a booth full of Maniac and Fanatic gear on Friday and Saturday at the Expo. Stop by and meet the Main Maniacs and meet some of our Maniac and Fanatic Pacers too.

Saturday at 5:00 PM we’ll host a Maniac / Fanatic meeting where we will announce our 2011 Maniac and Fanatic of the year winners as well as any Hall of Fame inductees.  Prizes, awards and more! With over 1,500 club members right here in Washington State, this really is Maniac / Fanatic Central! Meeting location: TBD

Our 2012 guest speaker at the Saturday pasta dinner is none other than Maniac #59 Gary Allen. Among some of Gary’s accomplishments, he directs the MDI Marathon and will be running the Tacoma City marathon as well!

All Marathon Maniacs and Half Fanatics that cross the finish line wearing their club gear will receive a custom Marathon Maniacs or Half Fanatics finisher medal, and custom Maniac or Fanatic Central TCM surprise. So make sure to sport your MM or HF gear on race day.

After you cross the finish line, meet up at the Maniac / Fanatic Central tent next to the beer garden and band. Inside the Maniac / Fanatic Central tent you can sit down, relax with friends, and enjoy beverages and food provided by the clubs.
