Fleet Feet Sports Bonney Lake offers a 16-week training program which uses tempo runs, easy runs, long runs, intervals, pace training and some hill repeats to prepare you to go the distance at your upcoming marathon or half marathon.
Training Program Information:
The training program begins on January 22, 2012.
Each participant's program will be custom-designed to accommodate each individual's ability, fitness level, and training goals.
The program includes 4 training seminars led by Fleet Feet staff and local health care professionals on topics such as hydration, training goals, proper apparel, shoes, stretching exercises, and hill running techniques.
The group will meet on Saturdays for long runs, most of which will be held near Orting on the Foothills Trail, safely away from traffic.
Each member will be provided with a Fleet Feet / Brooks podium long sleeve shirt.
Your registration fee will optionally include a discounted entry into either the Tacoma City 1/2 or Full marathon, a punch card for 10 Free Ironman Performance Drinks,and online interactive training and coaching.
